Beautiful Baby Contest

After lots of pressure from a certain aunt, I entered Coulson into the Regis and Kelly Beautiful Baby contest. Normally, I wouldn't actually admit this but I need your help. On March 9th if he makes it in the top ten they are allowing people to vote on the top 5 most beautiful babies so I am asking all of you to watch Regis and Kelly that day and if we make it into the top 10 to vote for Cole (if you want to) just click on Live with Regis and Kelly and pick Coulson Scott Parrish. I know it is a long shot but I have to admit it would be pretty cool if he was a runner up! Here's hoping!!

Playing in the Sink

On Sunday Cole woke up from his nap on the way wrong side of the bed. He cried and threw temper tantrums for a good 2 hours plus, which is not like him at all. He didn't want dad - only mom. But I was trying to get dinner and some deviled eggs made and couldn't hold him as he wanted. In an attempt to keep everyone's sanity I filled the sink up with water, pushed up a chair, and let him play in the sink., this is something that I know he loves.
Well, when I glanced at him a couple seconds later this is what I saw....

Eating Crepes - Coulson Style

In our family we LOVE to eat crepes, especially on Sunday morning. Well, Cole has developed a new style for eating his crepes. First he picks it up and unrolls it. Then he proceeds to lick all of the toppings off - ever so carefully making sure he gets whatever the topping is all over EVERYTHING. Afterward, he wads the crepe up in his hand (as shown in picture) and stuffs the entire thing in his mouth. Then he asks for more and the whole procedure starts again. I guess that is one way to eat a crepe.

3,2,1..JUMP

Last night when dinner was ready Bret told Cole to go jump into his highchair so that we could eat. A couple of seconds later I looked at Cole just in time to see him pull out his chair, squat down, and say "3,2,1 JUMP" where he jumped as high as he could to get into his chair. Upon failing the first time, he repeated the process - trying so hard to literally jump into his high chair as daddy had asked. Bret and I got a pretty good laugh out of this!
