So we have had a whirlwind of the last couple weeks but they have been so fun. I am officially off bed rest now that I am at 36 weeks. Cole spent 4 days with Bret's parents in Idaho, and Bret and I had some much needed us time while he was gone. But I was VERY glad to get him back when I did. Here are some pictures of our adventures.

This is Coulson sitting in my breast feeding pillow.
I had just finished washing it in preparation

This is a huge flock of turkeys we saw on a Sunday drive in the mountains. There were like 30 of them.
When took Cole to Union Station to see the trains
and got to ride a trolley at the farmers market.

This is us at a wedding reception we attended. It was a gorgeous reception!
This is me in my 9th month. The end is near.

Hill Airforce Base Museum

Saturday morning Cole stumbled sleepily into our room and requested to go see airplanes and jets. We couldn't say no so off to the HAFB Museum we went. He loved it. It was fun to watch his reaction for everything. I just love this age.

Brownie Bandit

So I splurged the other night and bought some brownies with cream cheese frosting - heaven. I was very careful not to eat them until Cole went down for bed - I'm not very good at sharing sometimes. The next day I gave him a bite and then headed to shower. Well, when I got out of the shower this is the site I found!
Obviously, he knew there had to be more so he went hunting and found my stash!!!! I just laughed. I guess I'm not the only one that loves brownies with cream cheese frosting!

Katy and Lyle for a visit

For Labor Day Katy and Lyle came for a visit. Sadly I didn't even think to take any pictures! But it was still tons of fun. I picked them up on Saturday and we spent the day relaxing. On Sunday they came over and went to chuch with us and then we headed into the mountains to spot a moose. No luck but it was a gorgeous drive! Monday Katy and I went to Tai Pan Trading Company for some girls time (the guys had gone to a movie Saturday night) and then our good friend Megan and her husband Weston came to visit. That was a hoot. We sure have missed them. After their visit we headed up to Grandpa Jack and Grandma Connies for the evening. It was nice to see them. While we were their Cole got a normal war wound - just a little bigger this time. It looks worse than it really is and he was fine after 10 minutes.

I took Katy and Lyle back this morning and it was hard to have them go. It was so much fun to have them come and visit. Hope they come again soon!

Nap Time Fun

k

The other day I put Cole down for nap and he didn't sound like he was sleeping. After about 20 minutes I finally went in to check on him - it was a good thing I did! Cole had managed to climb into the window seal but couldn't get down. He was waiting patiently for me to come rescue him. When I walked in he looked at me and said "I think I stuck".
