We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving up at the family cabin. It was bitterly cold! The first day we got there it got down to -24 degrees. Yikes. We had a great time hanging out with the whole family, letting the kids play together, and just relaxing and having fun. Thanksgiving dinner turned out delicious as usual we all the favorites. We even pulled a huge prank on Mat by telling him the Alyson (who was sick) had thrown up in the stuffing and that there wasn't any left for him. He believed it and we all got a good laugh out of the situation. Family pictures were also in order and we chose to do BSU themed attire. It was a fun time. We stayed up Wed, Thurs, Friday and then came home Saturday morning after a wonderful breakfast. We have so much to be thankful for! Family, friends, and some many blessings that the Lord has poured out on our small little family this year. We are also so very thankful to have the gospel in our lives. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. May you all have more blessings and things to be thankful for than you can count.

Okay Erin, I totally have to point out that Matt's oldest is grabbing himself in this family portrait....maybe not the shot to blow up for above the mantle!!! Ha Ha, I just had to point that out because it made me laugh pretty good! Cute pic though...looks VERY cold!
