Happy Birthday, Coulson!

As of Sunday, May 17, 2009 Coulson managed to survive the first two years of life! It is so hard to believe that I have a two year old but, I love it at the same time. He is getting so big and is so full of life. I can't image my life without him, and can't seem to remember what it was like before him. It must have been pretty boring because now life is full of laughter, adventure and excitement. Happy Birthday Cole! We love you more than anything!
For his birthday we had several celebrations. Spoiled boy. Saturday we had some friends over including "Uncle" Scott and had dinner and cake (Score Cake). That night he received his first fishing pole and tackle box from Mom and Dad. Of course, they were Superman and he loved them. So did Daddy. This upcoming weekend he'll get to use his fishing pole for our family fishing trip to Colorado. He also received an adorable stuffed duck from his Uncle Scott that he loves and sleeps with at night. Then on Sunday he got a new bike from Nana and Popi. He played on it all morning. From Grams and Opa he got a membership to the Treehouse, which is the local children museum here. That night we headed to Morgan, UT to do a dual celebration with Cole great Granpa Jack whose birthday is one day after Cole's. We had dinner, cupcakes and played outside all night. It was wonderful. We will also celebrate this upcoming weekend with my family in Colorado. I think the kid made a haul and thank you to everyone who made it a great 2 birthday!

Hallo from Germany! We tried to call and sing the "Birthday, birthday" song, but we missed you. Please know that we love you and think of you daily. We are so happy to hear the birthday was so fun. We can't believe Coulson is already 2 years old!
Love,
Grams & Opa

My first comments is : Bret, what happened to your hair??? Did the stress of a two year old cause it to all fall out at once?

Secondly: Happy Birthday Cole! Tia can't wait to see you on Friday.

Thirdly: Congrats to mom and dad for surviving the first two years. Good luck with the up coming years.
