Coulson has been going to preschool for a couple of weeks at a friends house. Mrs. Shelley asked that we practice writing his name with him, so one day we changed up the practice location and started writing his name on the front of the fridge. He loved it! Here are the results. Most of them I helped just a little bit but he is getting tons better.

All About Cole
Coulson will be 3 in May and I just wanted to give an update on him right now. He is still a very active boy and is constantly in motion. He loves to laugh, smile, and can be quite devious sometimes. Some of his favorite things right now are He-Man, his new swords, cheese, cooking, running everywhere, preschool, singing his ABC's, reading, and wrestling with his dad. He loves to play with his sister and is very sweet when taking care of her.
Cole also loves to test the limit. He is always trying new ways to get around the rules but always does it with a smile. I just love this little man. His personality is so unique and constantly keeps me in stitches. He is also a very social little bug and loves to talk to people and go new places. I can guarantee our lives would be very boring without this rambunctious little boy.
Fun with Tia
My sister Keri came for a quick visit this past weekend and we had a grand time with her. We picked her up Saturday and she was sweet enough to watch both kids while Bret and I escaped for a belated anniversary celebration that included shopping and dinner. Cole LOVED having his Tia here and became her mini me - quite literally. Whenever Keri blew her nose with a tissue, Cole did the same. He drank from his water bottle when she did, and even sat outside the bathroom door waiting for her. Talk about little shadow. It was pretty cute. They pretty much played "He-Man" with Cole's new Nerf swords all weekend. Sunday we just relaxed at the house and visited. It was so nice to just sit and talk. On Monday we got up and ate a yummy breakfast at my favorite place called Jeremiah's. Then we headed to the Gateway Mall in SLC for a little last minute shopping and some carmel apples. We then dropped her off at the airport. It was such a fun weekend. Glad we get to see her again in two weeks!

Aly's 4 month Stats
We took Aly in for her 4 month check up today. Here is what we found out:
Weight: 10 lbs - not even on the chart (we are trying to get her to gain more weight)
Height: 23.5 inch - 20%
Head Cir: 40 - 20%
Other than her weight Aly is doing fantastic. She is already rolling all over the room to get things, has scooted a couple times, talks all the time, grabs things and plays with toys, and is working on learning how to sit on her own. She gets cuter everyday. We sure love this smiley little baby.
Just for fun I look up Cole's 4 month stats too, just for comparison.
Height - 26 inches
Weight - 14lbs
It is amazing how different each child is.

Flabby Abs
This afternoon my son came to me, handed me my abs work out DVD and said "Mom, you need to go work out." I told him thanks, but not right now. I was busy. A few hours later he took the same DVD, put it into the DVD player, turned it on, and told me again "Mom, you need to work out". I guess he felt that I just didn't get the hint the first time. :)

Rolling and Wrestling
My sweet little Aly is 3 months and has become mobile. She now rolls where she wants to go. The funny thing is that when she does finally roll around it is because she is usually angry and crying that I won't pick her up. It won't be long before she learns other means of getting to me to pick her up. Also, she has become Cole's new wrestling partner. I have caught him twice with her in a siccor hold. I have to admit that I just laughed at the sight. He rolls around with her and is amazingly careful when he wrestles with her. He also has started dragging her around rooms when he wants her someplace that she isn't. The first time that happened she was on her play mat and when I looked at her again he had dragged her across the room to some other toys. The best thing of all is that Aly doesn't care at all what her brother does as long as it means he is playing with her. I sure love having two kids!!!
